Do it. Write it. Have a thick skin, because you're going to receive criticism for it too. In the end just be true to yourself; you'll sleep much easier at night.

(view spoiler)[When I first came up with the idea for the series The Chronicles Of V, I decided that each chapter/eBook would begin with a letter of the alphabet and would fall in alphabetical order. Each chapter/eBook would also contain the title some where in the story as well. So, as I began to come up with titles, they then began to give me a story line to base the chapter/eBook upon, and therefore started to shape the overall story. I have most of the letters filled in at this point, although there are a handful of them that still need a corresponding title attached to them. As I write, I let the story take shape as I move through it, and when it ends the next one will pickup in a similar place or in a previously planned event.
So, to really answer the question, it would be either from the previous chapter/eBook or from the table of contents in the overall eBook that I am writing simultaneously with these short eBooks. It will be a complete novel and will fill in all the gaps and missing pieces as well as back stories of these edited eBooks. Each eBook will then become the individual chapters of "All Of Me! The Chronicles Of V". (hide spoiler)]

I live life and draw from what I experience. I am also inspired by my soulmate who is the real inspiration in my writing.

(view spoiler)[Currently I am putting the finishing touches on the follow up to Casitas, Cantinas y Playas. The new eBook will be called Double Down and features Veronica after the ill-fated Mexico trip and breakup with Mitch. I hope to have it done by the end of the month.
At the same time I am writing these short eBooks, I am also comprising an overall book that will come out at some point after the series is complete. It will feature all of the missing pieces and story lines that happened in between the series of eBooks. It will also feature additions to the these stories that were edited to keep them a short read, and also give the back stories and history in greater detail. Currently it is titled "All Of Me!" I get to express my thoughts and creative ideas on paper, and actually have people enjoy reading my work. That is very satisfying to me.

I usually walk away from writing for a while; it could be hours or days. I've found that when I try to force writing, it just makes it worse. I sometimes talk about where I'm stuck with my partner, and possibly get an idea there as well.
