What are you currently working on?
Rea Keech Now that the 3-novel series set in Shady Park, USA, is finished, I'm writing a novel set in Japan when the war in Vietnam was still in progress.

Wow! I had such a wonderful surprise this morning! The first 2 books in your Shady Park series! Words can not express how I feel right now! I loved your 3rd book so much, Shady Park Secrets and wanted to read the first 2. Thank you so much!!! My question....Is there a specific actual town that inspired you when you were writing this series that represents Shady Park and Riverside Village?
Rea Keech All characters and places are entirely fictional, as they say. But I live in a place called Severna Park, and there’s a beach nearby. Thanks for your kind comments about the book.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Rea Keech I taught English at the University of Tehran in the time of the Shah. I wrote A Hundred Veils as a tribute to the warmth, humor, and love of the Iranian people I came to know.
