In my case, as a children's picture book, it is great to be able to read it and get a response from the children I meet on my journey as a supply teacher.
The children love that I am an author but I explain:-
"I am nothing special. You can all be writers too."

I love picture books and how the illustrations tell a story.
From writing a diary or writing alongside the children in school I have akways written down thoughts or ideas.
