Elisa Koopmans The best thing about being a writer is taking the ideas in my mind to create a story that I can share via a book with countless people, causing discussion and thought among my readers.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Elisa Koopmans Kate Beckett and Richard Castle from the recently cancelled ABC TV show "Castle." They are my favorite couple because though their personalities and approach to dealing with everything were diametrically opposed, that opposition worked synergistically to perfect a relationship that efficiently and effectively solved crimes and created a loving marriage.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Elisa Koopmans Listening to the news makes it clear there are problems with the legislative branches in this country and that caused me to brainstorm about how radical a person's views could be before they drove a person to murder. From there, the ideas just started flowing.
