Glad you enjoyed the first one. I'm actually working hard on completing book 1 of a new book series that will focus on the Hunters. Don't worry, Declan will make a significant appearance in this book too. Then I'll get back to writing book 2 of the Declan Peters Chronicles.

My favorite fictional couple is Richard and Kahlan from the Sword of Truth Series. I love how both of them are strong in their own ways and become an unstoppable force when they are together. Both have their darkest moments separately and were able to overcome them by their desire to get back to one another. Terry Goodkind you are a beast of a writer!

Since dreams are usually my inspiration, I guess, I’d sleep! Although, most of my dreams that ended up a book idea tends to be nightmares. I guess in addition to sleeping, I’d have to see what I’d have to do to induce a nightmare. I know, sounds awfully dark…but I’m really a cheerful person...

I’m currently working on three different book series…
I’m still working on book 2 of the Declan Peters Chronicles. Working title is In the Heart of Truth. This book will reveal many secrets as to who Declan really is an why he seem to have such abilities. But didn’t I already reveal that he’s P-born in book one??? Yes! But he’s so much more…
A second book series that I’m currently working on is about the Hunters. Yes, I know. I mentioned the hunters briefly in my debut novel, and at the end you found out that there might be something linking Declan’s mother and the Hunters, well….you won’t find that link is in the first book of this new series (you just might in book 2 of the Declan Peters Chronicles), but Declan will make an appearance! Throughout this series, Declan, and the main character of this Hunters series, Adam, will cross paths many times.
And as for my last book series, it will be an origins series. This series explores the origin of the demons starting with the first Nephilim. How does the world get from one Nephilim, to a point where they becoming a civilization so corrupt that God is willing to wipe out most of the world to eliminate?
Yes, all three stories are tightly wound together. Characters will invade one another’s stories. CRAZY Right?!

It might sound strange, but…dreams. Everyone has dreams, but most people forget what they dream about when they wake up the next morning. However, sometimes you get dreams that are just so intriguing that they get stuck in your mind. I have those sometimes, and when I wake, I would always try to force myself back to sleep to continue the dream. Sometimes, it works, sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, I always say to myself, “I wonder what would happen next.” My mind would start to daydream throughout the day of possible subsequent scenarios and possible endings. That’s actually how my first novel, IN THE EYES OF MADNESS, came about.

The idea for the novel came to me in a dream one night. I was surprised to be able to get into a deep enough sleep to dream. We (my wife and I) were new parents and our newborn was only a couple months old. What that meant was that we barely slept! So, it was kind of a miracle for me to even have such a vivid and amazing dream (or nightmare, I couldn’t really decide). When I woke from it, I tried going back to sleep, but it was no use. I couldn’t get the dream to continue. In the morning, I told my wife all about the dream and we decided that it made a good book idea. I was desperate to find out what happens in the end, but since I couldn’t get the dream to continue, I decided that I’d just have to write the rest of it myself.
