Charlie Donlea Hi,
No series is planned currently planned for Livia Cutty. But if the right story comes along, Dr. Cutty will be back! But fear not, Livia makes a cameo in my next novel (June 2018) when the protagonist needs a little help with a dead body, so look for her then!

You and many others have been asking about a Livia Cutty series so it's making me think...

Charlie Donlea My Summer Reading includes:
Every Last Lie by Mary Kubica
Working Fire by Emily Bleeker
The Good Widow by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke
The Cuban Affair by Nelson DeMille
Camino Island by John Grisham
Choose to Rise by M. Mekaelian
and Orphan X by Gregg Hurwitz
Charlie Donlea Sorry for the delay. I'm sure there are more stories for Kelsey in the future, but nothing has been written yet. However, check out Dr. Livia Cutty in The Girl Who Was Taken. It hits shelves on 4/25/17. I think you'll like her equally as well. And if your book club reads The Girl Who Was Taken, please keep me posted!
Charlie Donlea Hi Susan. Brilliance Audio has purchased the rights to SUMMIT LAKE, so you will be able to listen to it on CD or MP3 format. The audio version will be available the same day the hardcover comes out -- January 26th.
Charlie Donlea I'm currently working with my editor on my second suspense novel. The manuscript is, at this moment, in his hands as he heads off for a long weekend. As I wait for feedback, I'm working on ideas for my third book. Many readers have mentioned a desire to hear more about Kelsey Castle--the protagonist of SUMMIT LAKE. Rest assured, Kelsey's adventures do not end in Summit Lake.
Charlie Donlea I'm honored to have been interviewed by Writer's Digest Magazine on this exact topic. The interview will run in the February 2016 edition, and a more detailed answer is there. But my quick advice for aspiring writers is two things: One, ignore all the negative stuff out there about how hard it is to break in. Understand the challenge, for sure, but be confident that you can make it. Without belief in yourself and your writing, the mountain just gets taller. And two, decide never to give up. Some writers make it with their first manuscript on their first try. Others have to bang out multiple stories before they find success. Whichever path you find yourself on, decide never to stop writing.
