Keep at it. And edit edit edit edit. If I write 500 words, maybe 100 are good - knowing what is propelling the story forward and what is slowing it down only comes with years of practice. So practice already!

I don't really have it, I suffer the opposite! What I do have trouble with is corralling all the ideas to their proper corners. ADD - a blessing and a curse!
