What do you read?
Jami Wagner Hey Rita!

I read mostly romance. Any category within that is usually good, but my favorite is contemporary enemies or friends to lovers or anything with humor. Occasionally I step outside box, but romance never disappoints me.

I read about a book a day and reading ARCS helps pay for my reading habit plus get new books early and allows me to help writers. I've read Arcs, Beta read twice. Oh, that's another book. I Beta read for Molly Matthews her beautiful book (1) now "Flight of Passion". She writes very descriptively and makes you feel like you are there. Although, it sometime seemed slow but, you don't want to miss this at all? Do

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Jami Wagner This summer I plan to read a lot of Rachel Van Dyken, Nicole Williams, and Emma Hart. They all have so many books on my TBR list that I plan to finally read them all!

Have you tried Serenity Woods, Seasons, Kris Pearson , Wellington or Tracey Alvarez?Down Deep. I read for these authors in NZ. Although, I'm sitting here in So. Cal. Also, I just read for Maria Luis and she is a new author but, doesn't write new! Power Play & Say You'll Be Mine. They are all good

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jami Wagner It honestly depends on the character. How they act and respond to different situations is how I create his or her story.

Jami Wagner Music and people watching.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jami Wagner My favorite thing about being a writer is creating my characters. I can't wait to see what type of person I can come up with. I love them all. I also like knowing I can give each one a HEA.

Jami Wagner Right now, I am currently working on the fourth book in the Black Alcove sereis.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jami Wagner I step away. I know this is a repeated phrase, but I swear it works. If a scene is stressing me out and I can't think of a way to fix it, I never delete anything, but I do step away. Sometimes it's for an hour. Somethings it's for a few days. It works.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Jami Wagner Don't give up. Even when you think you've tried everything, try harder. You'll get there. I promise all the hard work will be worth it.
