I don't have any question but I just wanted you to know you have the most down to Earth and interesting Bio I've ever read! I just love E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. about it! You just earned another fan! I cannot wait to read all your masterpiece! Good luck with your future endeavor!... well I guess I don't have a choice but to ask question. Did you ever imagine that you will become an author someday?

Ashlie Knapp Oh, my gosh! I can't believe I am just now seeing this! LOL...Thanks so much! No, I never thought I would. I've always loved to read and when I was little I would go to my mom's office after school and write story after story but I didn't think it would ever be a reality! It wasn't until I was able to work part-time one year that I was able to write my first novel. The words seemed to flow from my fingers and in less than three months I had a work of art. Now that I am working full-time again, I just write until about one in the morning! lol...I'm so glad I finally saw this - it made my day! <3

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Ashlie Knapp There are soooooo many good ones, but my choice has to be Juliette and Warner from Shatter Me. So real. So much chemistry. Soooo good

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ashlie Knapp I'm a Thunder fan, which is why I started writing Playing to Win. Then I fell in love with all the other characters and knew I had to keep their stories alive.

How do you get inspired to write?

Ashlie Knapp I've always loved writing, even as a little kid. I was working part-time a few years ago and my husband encouraged me to start writing a novel. That's how A Second Time Around was created. After that, I started having all these great ideas. I basically take what I know, whether it be teaching, coaching, sports, songs or anything else I fancy, and create a world around those things.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ashlie Knapp Write, write, write, and then write some more. Jot ideas down on spare pieces of paper you find. Make a note on your phone. Practice won't make perfect, but practice will make you a better writer in the end
