Above all, believe in your writing. It's obviously worthwhile if you took the time to do it. Now take the time to make it into something that can benefit others. Hire a professional editor and professional book cover designer. Then self publish an ebook. Don't wait for an agent to take interest in your queries. Most won't even read what you send them unless you're an established name. The last agent I looked at wanted records of my platform and business plan. Well, if you have a platform and business plan, then what do you need an agent for?

That's not something I really know. In the beginning I was experimenting and having fun. Now I'm driven to improve the craft with each new story idea.

Believe it or not, I'm still working with my editor on the final line edits for Fired Up. Amazon permits pre-orders with a manuscript uploaded. Then they accept the finished draft at a later date. The official release happens on June 10th to commemorate my parent's anniversary.

It came about as a necessity. The series was drafted as scripts for a cartoon and simply dropped the audience into the lead character's happening life with an intro blurb about how it got started. When I converted it into a book series I felt the need to describe the events that brought about the scenario with a pilot episode, if you will. Thus we have the opener- Fired Up.
