I try and have multiple projects going. That way, if I'm not making progress on one, I shelve it for awhile and start working on something else. Although once I had three projects going and had writers block on all three!!! I sat there for an hour staring at that infernal cursor, flashing with taxing regularity until I just couldn't take it anymore.
