Hi Rowrow12, in regards to the changes reflected in Jared after his accident, leaving out the physical and cognitive issues for now, TBIs can also have varying degrees of psychiatric impact on a patient. Now I don't work in the medical field so I'm certainly not an expert, but based on my research and conversations with people who have some working knowledge of this, changes in a person's temperament can present in many ways from a mild form to severe. (increased risk of behavioural or emotional dysregulation)
Jared's change in temperament is further impacted by his extreme frustration and guilt over what he believes is Willow's disappointment at his inability to quickly regain his memory. Bearing this in mind, he's unfortunately lashing out as he grapples to deal with this incredible change to his life. Willow, in his mind, has become the representation of his failure to remember and no one likes facing their failures every single day. It's not fair, it's not right or logical, but he did smash his big old head!! At the end of Vol 1 he does slightly acknowledge how his behaviour towards her wasn't ideal and Vol 2 will also address this further. Hope that sheds some light on what you perceive to be his Jekyll/Hyde persona. He is a bit of a jerk though :-)

Hi Hope, thanks so much for your continued support! There is a Vol 2 for FMN and I'm currently in the editing stage, but if you've been with me since Lovers Dance, you'll know I'm terrible for changing up things in the plot line whilst editing - I really am trying to stop that! I'm hoping to have FMN Vol 2 out shortly and I do appreciate your, and other readers', patience with me. I hope you enjoyed FMN Vol 1 though and I'll get Vol 2 out as quickly as possible. (definitely going to fight the urge to change more things as it stands!!!)

Some of the press over here have certainly been less than objective where it concerns the Sussexes - far, far beyond the pale to be honest, and it was very disheartening to watch it unfold. I'd like to believe my work already encompasses a variety of different characters who portray different life experiences, socio-economic brackets, and just a well-rounded mix of people who could be like any one of us. Take care and I hope you enjoy the upcoming festive season.

Hi Allee9, I hope all is well with you in these current times. Forget Me Not has been completed for quite some time, but I have yet to release it. It's so nice to hear you enjoyed the chapters on VC as I honestly thought it wasn't a major page-turner. I do intend on putting it out, along with some other completed works, but it's approximately 210k words. I know a lot of readers start to despair when they see the length of my work, and I've been avoiding doing the 'chop' on FMN (it's already been through editing, it's just too long!!)...avoiding it as a whole to be fair! Thanks for your continued support though and I do appreciate your kind words. Take care, and I'll make an update once it's released. Thank you.

1. I'm happy with the way LD ended. There is scope for a continuation of the story but it's not something I'm working on right now. (if that changes I will let everyone know)
2. I've just released Through the Wooden Door and I'm currently starting work on a new novel. Alas, as many of you have realised by now, I'm absolute pants with release dates. (really, it's embarrassing!)
3. Thanks for letting me know of your availability as a Beta/ARC reader, I do already have a beta reading group but I'll keep you in mind if anything changes.

Hi Rhonda, thanks for your continued interest in my work. Release dates tend to be quite fluid with me so I'm unable to give a more approximate timeline other than some point in 2019. (I'm aiming for the earlier part of the year rather than later, but that could change!) As I'm working on a few pieces at the moment, a synopsis is difficult to give in case I decide to publish something else; but they all feature interesting protagonists. I am currently working on finalising another manuscript, but there are no hard and fast dates for publication as of yet. It will most likely be by the end of year...I hope! I know you mentioned before there was quite a bit of a wait between LD Vol 1 & 2, so here's hoping this book doesn't take as long (ah, apologies to my readers for that). I will post updates via the blog as soon as it is ready.
