Would you ever consider making a novella for The Heir and the Spare? I just finished the whole book yesterday and it is now in my top 5! I am planning on buying a hard copy so I can enjoy it whenever I want.
Emily Albright There's a companion novel, "Everyday Magic," that follows Preston's story. In it, you'll see some of the whole group, especially Evie and Edmund. And I have some ideas percolating for a third book, but so far nothing is in the works. I'm also open to doing a novella if the right idea came along. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

How do you get inspired to write?
Emily Albright I find inspiration in the little things I see and encounter every day. I always make sure to have a notebook on me to jot ideas down. Also, if I haven't written in a a few days, I start to feel uneasy, like I have to go write something. When I get like that I'll just sit and start typing anything that pops into my mind. It usually gets the words flowing and I can then transition into whatever I'm working on at the moment.
