Thanks so much, Conny. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it. I am planning more books and am currently writing the second. At the moment I've roughed out ideas for five books. Whether there will be more, I'll have to wait to see what inspiration I get. As for Bella's love life ... stay tuned :)

I am a professional actor and I'm also a lover of mysteries. I was living in Niagara-on-the-Lake at the time I started ENCORE and everything--the setting, the theatrical element, and the mystery--all seemed to collide one day while I was walking the dog. You write what you know right? There had been a big storm in NOTL and I remember walking the dog and marveling at all the uprooted trees (when you read the book, you'll understand this reference :) ) and a seed was planted.

I play a lot of Solitaire ;) I actually find walking the dog to be helpful. I can work through the problems I'm having during the walk and, most times, I'm able to get something onto the page afterward. I also talk things through with my husband when I'm really struggling. He had the magic touch and will often say something that gets me back on track.

I'm currently working on book #2 of the Bella James series. I'm hoping to have the first draft finished by the end of the summer. Fingers crossed.
