I brainstorm my ideas with my friends. Based on their enthusiasm, I draw my inspiration to write. I draw my other inspirations from stories that I heard as kid from the Puranas, Epics and other folklore.

My new book "The Sunshine to my Shadow Lover" can be best described as my interpretation of Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken" and a contemporary adaptation of the love story of God Surya and his wife Sanjana from the Hindu scriptures with a longing question from the times of the Mahabharata which the story of Shakuntala put forth - What would happen if your loved one forgets you?
