The book about the Seal which is not yet published was a screenplay I wrote the week my son was born and I was confined to the hospital with my wife. I sat on a small cot and wrote the entire story in screenplay format in 5 days. Recently I wrote it into a novel and am doing some re-writes, but that story I've had for nearly a decade.

My mind is always turning out stories whether it be in the shower, or driving alone down the highway so when I get an idea, I just write it down.

I am currently finishing up a science faction book about a Seal. The book is finished and I will start on the second book in the Jared Chronicles within a week.

Talk to other writers and editors when ever you can in order to learn about the industry, but at the end of the day you really need to just write and not over think all the research and whether you're in the right genre, etc. Also finish what you start no matter how painful the process.

I used to commute over to work which was 100 miles both ways so I always was thinking about a disaster that would put on foot trying to make it home to my family.
