What’s the best thing about being a writer?
S. Jean Marie I love the writing process. From thinking of a character, a setting or a situation and working with it. Uncovering the layers , being descriptive, using my imagination,to explore other realities.

How do you get inspired to write?
S. Jean Marie I love words. I am inspired by curiosity. I love to find the answers that present themselves - from conversations,from eavesdropping, from art and nature.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
S. Jean Marie I had a nagging idea that would not go away! A quick scene that never made it into the book but began my questioning of "what if..."
