I get my inspiration from real people. People who I have met for only a few moments or those who I have known for ever. Every human being has a story. Some they tell us and hence we know about it and some we just understand. It is these untold stories that fascinate me.

It is natural for a writer to have days when he is unable to get a single sentence on paper. When I have these days I don't force myself to keeping sitting and trying. Instead I give myself a break. Even if that is for more than a day. I make sure that I finish all other pending work instead and not think that I need to write.

The best thing about being a writer is you can escape into a world of your own within minutes. It eases the stress of the mind for sure. Also, when you write you are giving others the opportunity to glimpse into this world of imagination that you live in and love so much. So, in a way, you are sharing your happiness with them.

Nowadays everyone wants to write. While that is a good thing, sometimes one tends to forget the basic rule of writing - GRAMMAR. So for all those out there who wish to become authors, do pay a lot of attention to your words, sentences and paragraphs. After all, your work will be read by the world.

My most recent book is called 'My Dream Man'. It is due to hit the market by the end of the year. Ideas come to me from real people who I meet in life. It is the same for this book as well. I have been fortunate enough to know a gentleman who is extremely intelligent, a wonderful human being and personifies smartness. Many of us, while we were his students, harboured a crush on him. That became the starting point of this story. The rest of the tale is a figment of my vivid imagination.
