Nancy Glynn It doesn't affect me at all, honestly. My imagination takes over and doesn't allow personal emotions to get involved. I write the story my characters demand. It's really their story, not mine. Great question, Colin! Sorry it took me so long to answer. I'm back to writing again.
Nancy Glynn My favorite fictional couple of my three books is Eve and Grayson of my latest, And Never Lose His Heart. The way they come together is so beautiful and real. Their past gives them a challenge in surrendering this trust in another and to let go of any guilty feelings. The way Eve draws Grayson out of his farmer's box just by being herself is sexy in every way. Grayson's guilt about his dead wife and the way he feels about Eve is beautiful and raw, making their coming together the most sensual of all my couples. I absolutely love them as all my readers do, too, claiming favorite of the series!
Nancy Glynn Hi, Diane!

These are all standalone books just set in the same town of Destiny with completely different couples/storylines, so either is fine. For And Never Let Her Go, I'm offering an exclusive extra epilogue for subscribers, so I hope you grab your copy! You can also grab it on my blog without subscribing. :)

Thanks and enjoy!

Nancy Glynn Hi, Michael! Congratulations on winning my book! No, no need to let Goodreads know, but that's very kind of you. I'm glad you received it okay as that always worries me. Enjoy!

Nancy Glynn Ha! Thanks, James! Have not thought about that, but now that you've asked, I'll put some thought into it! Who would you suggest? Would love to see this book adapted into film. Glad you enjoyed it!
Nancy Glynn I deal with writer's block by not forcing scenes, so if I'm having trouble, it's because I'm tired or the creative juices stopped flowing for a little while. I respect the process, and walk away until I'm inspired to sit back down that day. I also jog in place with my music blasting in my headphones, and the scenes will unfold, giving me what I need.
Nancy Glynn The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to do as you please, to create amazing characters and bring them to life, and to make a living out of something you love doing! This is my dream come true.
Nancy Glynn My advice would be to never give up your dream. I still have a long way to go for being a debut author and getting my work out there, but I feel successful already in that I've completed my story and got it published myself. I'm so proud of this story and hope to share my characters with the world. Daisy's and Christian's story will touch you as well as all my secondary characters. I love them all. I might even write a sequel since there's room.
Nancy Glynn I'm currently working on a paranormal romance named Mallory's Ghosts, based on my husband's job as an organ donation surgical coordinator. The only difference is she sees the spirits of the organ donators as she's talking to their family or in the OR. She'll come to find she has ghosts of her own to deal with, and the male surgical coordinator, known as 'Wolf,' because of tearing it up in the OR as well as other reasons. It's fun and in first person, which really gets me inside her Mallory's head.
Nancy Glynn I'm inspired by my muse, Gracie, as crazy as that sounds. You can call it your spirit guide, subconscious mind, etc. Music also inspires me, as I have blogged about recently. I named all the songs that have inspired my scenes. I also have a little statue on my desk that looks like my MC, Daisy. She encourages me.
Nancy Glynn I actually had a completely different idea for Black 21 before the idea of a sinister town was born. It centered more around a college town and a dance, but then that changed. Believe it or not, I dreamed it up first over 10 years ago. In my dream was the first scene in the kitchen where Daisy is asked the "favor" by her uncle. Two unknown men sat at a table, arguing, while a girl looked on in horror, and Black 21 was created. I woke up and ran to my office to write it out. I finally completed it by the fall of 2014.
