M.L. Terese My current project is a novel about a girl named Zoe and her twin sister. It will focus on their family relationships and, of course, we will find out a few things we didn't expect. I'm not ready to give any more details yet. Fear Not the Starry Sky is written in limited/close third person. I found this to be suitable for the story, but experienced some challenges with presenting Kat's inner thoughts without being too wordy. This story about Zoe and her sister will be in first person which, I think, will allow us to get closer to the protagonist, but will provide other challenges.
M.L. Terese If I'm working on a writing project and I get stuck, I generally put it down/shut down the computer, get out of my chair, and do something active. If I can take a few days to hash things out, I find the best thing to do is get a good night of rest. My brain works to solve things as I sleep and I often awake the next morning with the new words I was looking for. If there's a deadline and I can't go back to it a day or two later, I exercise, listen to music, or have a conversation with someone so my thoughts are on something else for a while. When I go back to the writing project, I can often look at it with new eyes.
