The series did not continue in long format, however, there are several novellas that are set in the world and continue the characters journeys. So far in order: HALLOWEEN CUPCAKE MURDER, IRISH MILKSHAKE MURDER, and IRISH SODA BREAD MURDER

Hi there. It is not the last! Many adventures to come. Cheers!

Yes! The next Irish Village mystery will be MURDER AT AN IRISH SESSION and it comes out in February-- usually around the 22nd. And the fourth book in my darker County Kerry mysteries COME THROUGH YOUR DOOR will come out around October 26th, and a re-print of more of a romantic comedy set in Ireland will come out in December called A PUB ACROSS THE POND. Cheers and thanks for reading!

MURDER IN AN IRISH VILLAGE has a pronunciation guide in the beginning of the book. If you're on the eBook/Kindle you have to go back as it opens at Chapter 1. My publisher prefers not to put a guide so not being snarky when I say they can all be found online as well. Cheers!

Recently released YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR in the County Kerry series and in December IRISH SODA BREAD MURDER will release December 24th, and a re-print trade paperback size with new cover of MURDER IN AN IRISH VILLAGE will release and then February 22 MURDER IN AN IRISH GARDEN. Cheers!

A little bit of both! I was inspired to create Kilbane from the town Kilmallock, County Limerick. It's a great walled town, although there's been a bit of a downturn since Covid. But I still love it! They have a ruined abbey, original stone walls, a town castle, the ruined abbey (Dominican Priory), and a collegiate church. I do take some liberties with the town.

Hi Jeffrey. The town is Kilmallock, County Limerick. For people thinking of visiting I should add that I was there earlier this month and it has gone a bit quiet since Covid. Many pubs have shut down, etc. Hopefully it will rebound.

Yes, I don't write the cover descriptions but I never noticed that. She calls him Dara at times but not Mac. Good catch.

I'm glad you're enjoying them! Try MC Beaton, Maddie Day, Lynn Cahoon, Ellie Alexander, VC Burns-- there's so many, that's probably a good sampling -- I think Louise Penny might be close to this genre as well.

Thank you for reading! I am equally attached to the characters, they feel very real.

HI there. I'm so glad you're enjoying the series, I'm equally attached to them! I don't picture anyone famous when creating my characters so I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that might look like Macdara. He's handsome and tall with sand-colored hair, blue eyes, and a heart-stopping grin. :)

Hello. No, unlike my Irish Village Mysteries these are not cozy, they are darker mysteries.

Hi Josh,
I am not from Ireland, just a lot of heritage and friends and research. But if you want to add any great Irish authors to your map-- check out Colum McCann or Catherine Ryan Howard or Andrea Carter or Patrick Murray-- and many more-- you'll have it checked off in no time!
Cheers,
Carlene

That's a good question. Yes they brought in volunteers to clean up their back kennels and all the animals were kept safe until they found the owners or found homes.
Carlene O'Connor
Yes! Every February there will be a new release. MURDER IN AN IRISH BAKERY is next -- February of 2023. Cheers!
Carlene O'Connor
Yes although there will be novellas starting with a Halloween themed novella in the fall of 2023. Cheers!
Carlene O'Connor
Thank you so much. It's actually a pen name so I cannot claim any relations.

There will be a Halloween novella featuring Tara Meehan coming out in the Fall of 2023. The full length novels have not been renewed.
