I get inspiration from everything. I've become a people watcher over the years. I observe the way people move, act, and react to everything/everyone around them. If you ever catch me staring at you, I swear I'm not a creeper, It just means I'm getting a new idea for a book or character.

Dance party. Sometimes writers block can be so frustating so a fellow author, and friend, Elizabeth York and I have become infamous for our late night dance parties to help get the creative juices flowing again. Sometimes though, if that doesn't work, I take a step back and stop working on that project. Instead, I'll write something else. If I cant write at all, I take it as a sign from my body that I need to take a break.

Being able to work from home and spend more time with my two amazing kids. They are my world and I love being here for them every minute of the day.

Never give up. If writing is something you love, then keep at it. Ignore the negitivity and crappy feedback. Not every single person in the world is going to love your book. We are all different and have different tastes. Just because someone hates your book, doesnt mean the world will hate it. This also means that just because someone loves your book, doesnt mean the world will love it either. As long as YOU love it, that is all that matters. Don't let others influence something that makes you happy.

I am currently working on the second book to the Cursed Boys series, as well as working out the details to a few stand alone novels. There will also be another series I'm working on, and the details will be released later this year.

The idea just sort of came to me. I tend to have an over active imagination, and when I can't find a book that has the story I've been craving, I create the story in my head. This book started out as one of those stories, and over time the details grew and the story in my head grew to become an entire series. I finally decided to get the words out of my head and on to paper.
