Taisha DeMay I deal with writer's block by re-reading what I've written. For the most part, that works, but when it doesn't, I take a break from what I'm doing, listen to music, take a walk, watch a black and white movie until the words start to flow again.

Taisha DeMay The best advice I would give to aspiring authors is to never get discouraged in persuing your passion because that's what being a writers is, a passion. Keep writing every chance you get to perfect your craft. Communicate with your favorite authors they're the best when learning what to do and what not to do. Join street teams and book clubs attend author events speak to the author, interact with fans, learn all you can.
Taisha DeMay I am currently working on the rewrites for my first two books because of the editing problems. There will also be follow-ups to both books as well as two reissues of previously published books.
Taisha DeMay I became inspired to write by my advanced English teacher who would read the classics to us. Books like Wuthering Heights as well as talk about the author's life and what inspired them to become published.
Taisha DeMay The idea for Through The Fire was actually based on a real person who was obsessed with fire.
