I always joke that being a writer is something I wouldn't wish on anyone because of how it divides your thoughts and identity, but it is kind of cool being the only person who knows how your story is going to end. :)

I don't get 'blocked' as much as I get too many ideas that won't connect. I actually find doing jigsaw puzzles to be helpful--the more challenging the better. The focused attention of creating order from chaos with the puzzle pieces helps organize my thoughts at the same time.
