I write with every day life going on around me. I run a stud, so sometimes I have to pop out and breed my stallion to a mare, or help a mare foal. I often have my daughter chatting to me or my grandchildren running around playing their games during the school holidays. Lately I have had my beautiful poodle feeding her puppies alongside my desk. The is generally a home made pie, casserole or cake baking in the oven or our beautiful cats and dogs playing at my feet. When you walk in the door, you will either find me typing away to music or a movie playing in the background. Life is my inspiration- my muse.

You never know when it will hit. I sometimes get to a point where I say, "Oh no, where do I go from here?" and I have nothing but a blank mind and an unfinished chapter! When this happens, I have many "fix its". I play music and dance or sometimes I watch a movie or go out to the paddock with my dogs and horses and just relax.

Write, get that paper or document and write. Write your thoughts and turn them into a story, add to them, you can always delete and rewrite a word, a sentence a paragraph. Write for you, let a friend read, listen to them, but go with your gut feeling- it's your story!

I began by writing my first novel which was simply titled, Luminescence which was about a love story between two people in 19th Century Greece. One a blood hunter, the other an innocent Greek maiden which I hope would become a timeless love. The story evolved and quickly outgrew the one book, so I divided them into two and as stories grow, so did the characters.There is now four books to this series- and maybe, just maybe- more.

Mostly I love writing! Only a few things beat the feeling of the energy as it course its electricity through every cell of your soul while you manically pound away at the keyboard, word after word, sentence after sentence- chapter after chapter. Your mind send a torrent of images to turn into words, a story- a book . The downpour comes from an innate place in your imagination- some cleverly are disguised memories and you do not realise this until you read the chapter back to yourself. I love that I never know where I am going to be one hour to the next. One minute I am sword fighting in Ancient Greece, slicing through the flesh of an enemy blood hunter, the next minute I could be feeding from the throat of a sultry maiden, or making love under the glittering water of a waterfall on a remote Greek isle. Maybe I am visiting the Lesbian Coven of Veronika on the Isle of Lesbos, joining in on many adventures and a coven cleanse or two. What exhilarating adventures my characters take me on each and every week! Oh and then there's the Oh My God SEX, - I think you just have to read those paragraphs for yourself - I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

A friend and I are currently editing the sequel to Memoirs of A Blood Hunter titled, Luminescence: Memoirs of Sara as I write the third book of the series titled; Luminescence: Memoirs of Tycho the Vampyr Hunter.
