Angela Savage One way I deal with writer's block is to take my character for a walk - literally. I get away from my desk, go somewhere I haven't been before, and walk around in my character's shoes, imaging how they would perceive the setting. I find this is a great way to find 'show, don't tell' moments and to get the story moving again. I've written guidelines on how to do this exercise here: http://www.writersvictoria.org.au/res...
Angela Savage I get inspired to write by places, phrases, questions and ideas. You can read about the multiple ways I get inspired to write in this post on the blog of my fellow Australian author Amanda Curtin: https://amandacurtin.com/2019/07/29/2...

I wrote more a guest post for Booklover Book Review. https://bookloverbookreviews.com/2019...
