I would love to go to the Psy Changeling world by Nalini Singh - but only if I could be a changeling. I love her world and the shifters in it and would love to experience the world she's built.

One of the big books on my summer reading is Nalini Singh's Silver Silence and the next Ilona Andrews. I'm a sucker for paranormal and urban fantasy books. I can't get enough of them!

I don't think I need inspiration to write. It's a matter of a schedule for me and focus. I have a standard time I usually write and a routine. When I finish writing the day before, I always have a note about what I want to work on next - scene, character, etc. So when I sit down the next night, I review those notes, and get moving. I tend to always move forward and not look back, preferring to edit after the first draft is done, at least as much as possible.

Wow, this is a great question - and one that changes for me all the time. I have so many fictional couples that I love but I'm going to go back to my favorite historical romance couple - Colin and Penelope from Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. Penelope was a wallflower and had absolutely no prospects and in Regency England, she was an old maid almost before she even had her debut. She was overlooked, bullied and unloved. Colin was the popular boy, everything came easy to him, but he was not perfect either. She had a huge crush on him but he never saw the girl next door until one day. Their love grew over time and I loved how it happened. I think my heart felt for Penelope and her quiet inner strength and I loved how she won over Colin and how he eventually saw beneath her. I still reread that book almost every year.

I just finished book 2 in my Knights of Passion series and now I'm playing with three books! The first book in a new series is done but I'm making a few changes to it. I'm working on a super secret holiday novella. And I'm starting book 3 in the Knights of Passion. So my cup runneth over! Too many plots and characters!!!

I tend to knit as a way of procraftinating. :) No, seriously, I knit as think as I knit. Sometimes the knitting takes over because, let's face it, it's far easier to knit a sweater or a lace shawl or anything, than fixing a plot problem. But sometimes, I need the rhythmic quality of knitting to lull my brain and let the subconscious come out and play. Then I have to know when to stop and just force myself into the chair and start writing.

I love the What If questions. And then spinning a tale to answer it! My creative side can take me to places I've never even thought and I love that flexibility!

Best thing to do is find a writer's group, a group of people who are supportive and can guide you in your learning process. Not all groups are the same and not all groups work for everyone. So be willing to speed date a few groups and check them out.

I've always loved baseball and thought that baseball players are the hottest sports heroes so it was natural to choose baseball as my series. I'm a huge Yankee fan (don't throw anything at me) and I always wondered how a player could redeem themselves after a major publicity set back, kind of like Alex Rodriguez. And that's where Jason Friar was born!
