It's not easy, but just keep writing even if it will never be read by anyone else. When I feel creatively blocked with my book authoring, I make sure to continue to write in my blog, answer questions from readers, and write articles for magazines.
I also make sure to take FuN time for me! I go for walks, hikes, camping trips, go to movies, read fun books (written by others), and listen to beautiful music. Nature photography is also a passion of mine so I might even take a road trip with a beautiful destination in mind.

I'm currently working on book #2 in the "Awakenings..." series, which will be a deeper dive into near-death experiences and what I've learned as a result of mine. I'm also starting to research my first fiction book! It will be a combination of mystery, alchemy, and spirituality (I know, sounds strange) set in a very ancient site in the Middle East.

Start by writing, writing, and writing even more. Write what you know about to start. Get in the habit of writing, even if it's short blog entries or potential magazine articles.
And don't ever underestimate the power of a good editor, especially if you are writing a book! A good editor can make a book or magazine article infinitely better and more readable than you can imagine. If you are self-publishing, spend money on a good editor...you will not regret it.
