To me, writer's block occurs when other things in your life have taken over your free thoughts. Somehow you need to re-immerse yourself back in "that world" where you should be when writing. I find if I go out and mix with friends, to receive new inputs the creativity comes back. Also a long train ride, plane journey - where your mind begins to wander and imagine again.
