I am mostly reading sci-fi and fantasy this summer. I've just finished the first two books in The Lord of the Rings series and the first book in the Dune series. I want to reread The Belgariad as well. I can't decide if I should finish the Dune series first.

I just finished reading Dune by Frank Herbert. It wouldn't be a very relaxing vacation, but I would very much like to see the desert world Arrakis and ride a sandworm with the Fremen.

I'm different than most writers I know in that I don't "sit down" to write. I write on my phone as I'm walking down the street, on random pieces of paper at my 9-5, and inside other books. This allows more of a "flow" from the creativity in my daily life. The real key then is to play puzzle-maker and put together all the pieces at the end.
