The first book, Love on the Cape bloomed from an idea I got watching the reality show, Island Hunters. I thought it would be cool if someone owned it and another was trying to take it...then those characters bloomed into Ryker Van Buren and Larkin Sinclair. Instead of an island, I made it the Cape you now know and love!

I don't really get full blown writer's block where absolutley no words are coming. But sometimes, I'll have a day where every word is like pulling teeth. I've learned this is usually because I'm lacking direction in motivation and conflict. Once I sit back and deal with that, the words begin to flow again!
