As for the animal question ... that's a tough one! I suppose sloths could do with renaming, because although the word "sloth" has negative connotations, if you've ever seen one you'll know they're the happiest little dudes in the world. In fact, that would probably do the trick - we could just call them "dudes". :)

Hi Ria. Thank you so much for writing to me. I'm delighted you've enjoyed my novels! :) As it happens, I handed my proofreading comments to my editor yesterday, which means my work on writing SONGS ABOUT A BOY is pretty much done. Now it goes to production, and pretty soon, all the promo work will kick off. So there'll be plenty to keep me busy! :)

I've just submitted the final manuscript for SONGS ABOUT US, the sequel to SONGS ABOUT A GIRL. I'll be taking a short breather to promote book two, and then I'll start work on the third and final book in the trilogy ...!

Hey Niamh! That's an interesting thought. :) Of course, I can't give anything away at this stage ... but I can tell you that your questions will be answered by the rest of the trilogy! And there are certainly plenty of twists and turns still to come. (The sequel, SONGS ABOUT US, is being published on 13 July.)
