What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Tonya Knudsen Write. And keep writing. Listen to the feedback. Apply what you hear when you think it over and agree with it. When the feedback is hurtful or silent, write that hurt away. You can.

What are you currently working on?
Tonya Knudsen The Duchess Adlai: A Trip to Trispia, Book 2. We jump right into the adventure this time. Less world-building, more action!

How do you get inspired to write?
Tonya Knudsen I really love the characters. I miss them if I don't spend 1 hour a day with them. Sometimes they protest and things move slowly. On those days I give into their demands and go where they want to go.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tonya Knudsen I really missed Narnia and I couldn't find enough books along those lines. (Although that was before I knew about GoodReads!) So I first created the Acrin Solar System and its star Miter. The two habitable sister planets came next, then the people, the inventions, the types of adventures they were bound. Last came the Jesin.
