This is a great question. I haven't really thought much about this probably because I live in Florida and it's always summer here :-)
I plan on reading "Letters to His Neighbor" by Marcel Proust. I've heard great things about this book.
Al Franken, Giant of the Senate is another book I look forward to diving into in a few weeks. I know this book will give insight into our political system but will be full of laughs.
If you have any books I should add to my reading list, please let me know.

Good question. An event that happened to my in an airport and airplane that I wrote a bit about in "You Ain't Hungry Until I'm Starving" the piece is called "In the Airport". This whole story/incident is still a mystery and could be a plot for a book or a movie.

My favorite fictional couple would be Santiago and Fatima from "The Alchemist". I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't read the book; however, this two are my favorite because of the love, courage, and support they shared for each other.

I've only dealt with writer's block when I had to write papers in school. What I did back then was to take a break, relax, meditate, and even do another activity to take the pressure off of myself. I think a large part of writer's block is due to putting too much pressure on yourself to finish a project or to write the "perfect" piece.

Best thing about being a writer to me is I get to create a beautiful piece by bringing out my inner thoughts and passions for the world to see and learn from. I get to help people in some way, shape, or form.

My advice to aspiring writers would be to stay true to yourself. Often we lose our identities by becoming who and what others want us to be. Learn from criticism but don't take being criticized to heart. Remember it is easier to Criticize than to Do.

I usually get inspired to write by the conversations I have day to day. I want to help the world through my writings and I want the world to know others can relate to whatever they are going through.
