Don't "aspire" to do anything. Just do it. If you want to be a writer, you have to write. I'm not saying write every day. That only works for some people. But don't write "just when you feel like it" either. Make a habit of it and it gets easier.

My idea for Ash and the Prince came from a conversation with my husband about Cinderella. We were discussing the practicality of glass slippers when the image of a girl running barefoot through broken glass popped in my mind. Of course, that bit changed, but that's where the idea originated=)
