Robert J. Patrick The idea for the title came from the vulnerability of the poetry I published. These poems are some of the most personal piece I have ever written. I had to face myself and be honest during the entire process. In silence, I was facing all the mistakes I made, and all of the thoughts that swirled around. The phoenix represents a rebirth at the end of this writing process. Every project has an ending point and this book brought closer to the real me.
