To be honest I don't have a favorite fictional couple. I believe every couple has something interesting and unique to offer which is why there are no favorites for me :)

I've been having nightmares and unbelievably crazy experiences for years and I didn't understand why until I decided to start writing about them. The more I wrote the crazier my experiences and the more frightening my nightmares became. Pain and suffering are factors as well. They were the spices and ingredients required. The book pretty much wrote itself. I just did what I was told to do.

I wake up. There is always something there lurking for me to pay attention to. Something wants to be a character. It invades my thoughts until it has become a word, a letter--anything in my stories. Fear inspires me as well. So does unresolved issues. Throw in happiness and viola! I got myself a story!

I am currently working on a novel where the lives of the elders in my novel, "The Black Stone" began their lives. It is deep, dark, mysterious, creepy, intense and, well, you'll see!

The world looks a lot different because people become characters that can only exist in the realm of my imagination. Powers could be gained, spells cast, lessons upon lessons learned and mysteries uncovered. And then, when I want to get out of that world for a second...I simply put down my pen.

I step away for a while. Sometimes it's for a few moments, a few hours, days; however long it may take I've learned to wait patiently for the signal. Then, of course, it usually comes the moment I want to stop being patient.
