The best time for me to write is when I am emotional...believe it or not. Whether I am really happy about something, or I've had a horrible day, I can grab my computer, find a quiet place and the writing just seems to come. I guess you can say that writing is my escape.

When I have writer's block, I pull away from the writing and do something else...something I enjoy. I may read a great book that I have already read just to get my imagination going or watch a favorite movie. Anything that make me emotional. I always write better when I am emotional...go figure!

As a Christian motivational speaker, I frequently faced with the struggles that today's youth face with trying to fit in, trying to please their parents, trying to be a great friend...i.e. trying to be perfect. The goal of the Guardian Chronicle series is to demonstrate that life is not about being perfect. It's alright to make mistakes...just learn from them and grow. It up to you to find your own purpose in life.
