Hi, I saw your review of The Gunsmith: Sasquatch Hunt. I had this book but I lost it in a fire a couple years ago (the city burned down). I want to make a quick reference to the events in a story of mine, but I don't feel like buying it again, as it wasn't great and I only need one piece of information. Can you look up the name of the professor's assistant and shoot it to me? Many thanks.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Ernest Solar In regards to Two Moons Rising, from dreams I had when I was a teenager. From those dreams the story was born and slowly took shape over time. For my second book, personal encounters and research.

How do you get inspired to write?
Ernest Solar That is a hard question. I like to write and tell stories. I have a very vivid imagination. To me, writing is like speaking. It is my voice. However, my wife, who is my best friend and my Muse gives me the strength to write and share my stories.

What are you currently working on?
Ernest Solar My second novel, which is about a boy who is rescued by a Sasquatch.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Ernest Solar Write every day! Even if it is just a mess of words, find time to write every day. It's a skill and should be practiced every day.

Read every day! You are a writer, to read into read. Read any thing and every thing!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Ernest Solar There are so many wonderful things about being a writer. One, I get to explore my imagination. Two, I get to have imaginary friends and its acceptable! Three, I get to tell stories.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Ernest Solar When I get writer's block (because we all do), I usually go for a walk in the woods. I give my inner self some time to process and think about my story idea (or what I am struggling with) on a sub-conscious level and BOOM!, thoughts flood into my head. Sometimes it takes a few hours to a few days for the block to be chipped away for the ideas to flow again.
