Did you ever experience a moment that stopped you dead in your tracks? I did, when my first grandson discovered a bayonet that had been in my family for over two centuries. He asked me about the purpose of the blade. What could I say to an eight year old? After he left I began to craft a comprehensive answer. I poured a lifetime of experiences into a book titled The Hidden Treasure of Dutch Buffalo Creek.It incorporates chapters from several other novels that comprise the Hidden Treasure Novels series.
The experiences were shared with a host of treasured family, friends and colleagues.Some were childhood buddies on Army bases around the world. Others shared the school years, undergraduate and graduate venues. A number shared the journey at several leading technology companies and iconic educational publishing firms.
The year 2014 wielded a two-edged sword. Months in physical therapy following surgery gave me the opportunity and time to finally enable my nom de plume to complete her first novel. Now I can once again hike the nature trail that follows the Dutch Buffalo Creek. Enjoy the journey!
