Wow Jason, that's a hard one.
There is a certain amount of vulnerability in both, generally aspects of my personal life spill over into my writing. I'm honest about suffering from an anxiety disorder and at times I feel incredibly vulnerable. When I started this process of writing, promoting, sending requests and submitting my stories the feeling was overwhelming and at times I wanted to quit and give in to my self-doubt.
My writing is a small piece of me and while I'm proud I did it and put myself out there to follow my dream, it's still incredibly nerve-wracking opening myself up to negativity even though I know my work will never be to everyones tastes and expect criticism.
I guess in answer to which I'm more vulnerable in, the answer is my personal life, my writing is and always has been my escape from everyday worries and fears.

I suffer from anxiety and have had anxiety attacks so that is where the female lead came from. As for the rest it fell into place around Enola.

The freedom to express all the crazy ideas I have in my head before it explodes.
I love being able to say 'I did it'. My stories won't be to everyone's liking but at least instead of sitting around and saying 'I want to write a book' I gave it a try.
