Many times I feel that it's not me that's writing things out. Some force gets the writing done through me. All I need to do is show up. Sit at my desk and wait. Sometimes there is a lot that comes and sometimes I could sit for an hour and not even a line gets typed. And that's how it is.
What I need to do is show up. Sit there and wait. And whatever needs to happen will happen!
Don't feel bad if writing doesn't happen. It's just the way it is today. It will for sure change in a bit. Hang in there and it will get done.

Knowing that what you are writing will reach so many people. People you may never get to know in your lifetime and Knowing that somewhere somehow you have touched their lives and made it just a little better. A book is a reflection of yourself - a clone and you can get to so many, many people you would never be able to otherwise...
And, practically speaking a book is a fabulous source of passive income if it becomes popular.

Just write.
Know the difference between writing and editing and don't do the two at the same time. While the creative juices are flowing, just write. Don't bother about grammar and sentence construction and all that. Just get all those ideas onto paper (or screen). You can always delete something later if you don't like it. Keep writing.
Once that phase is done, go in and edit.
You will be surprised how much writing will happen when you don't try to edit as you write.

Promoting my first book Ready Study Go! - Smart Ways to Learn. And thinking about writing another book on the same theme but for a much older audience or a much younger audience.

People. I have always wanted to make a difference to people, to society. I teach the Art of Living series of courses and get people to unlock dimensions of themselves they didn't even know existed.
Through my writing, if people can move to where they want to be in their lives, feel supported or even just smile more, then all the effort of creating and publishing a book would be justified.

My book is about using the brain effectively and efficiently. It's about learning to learn. I lead the Art of Living Youth movement for a very long time and my inbox would be flooded by emails about how to focus, concentrate, and other issues regarding the process of learning. That's when I decided that a book is required to answer these questions in a practical way.
It took 3 years to write and has 70+ illustrations to make it easier to read and understand. I hope it helps students and anyone who wishes to learn anything to get their work done.
