Fortunately, I've never experienced writer's block. My writing folder contains over a hundred works in progress of which a dozen are completed first-draft novels. I always leave myself a little prompt where I finish for the day to start me off at the next writing session. It might help that the book's characters are constantly conversing in my head even when I'm not writing.

The first time the letter carrier leaves a piece of mail at Doug's apartment meant for Sabrina a block over, he thinks it might be a mistake. After the fifth time, he guesses they are left on purpose. When he hand-delivers the items to Sabrina, turns out, she has a stack for him. They continue the bi-weekly exchange for several months. From this obvious plot to put the two together was born the idea for Match Mail.
