Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Brian Forschner I was working on my family tree and discovered that there was a 15 year old unaccounted for. I found out that she was my grandfather's sister. Growing up, I spent a lot of time at with my grandfather. He never mentioned her. The deeper I dug, I found she was raped and strangled. Deeper still, I found that there were other girls. There were patterns. They was never any justice.
