Don't give up. Every writer is awful at the beginning. In fact, if you progress through my books, you'll discover this. I'm still an author-in-progress. It's the way any skill works. Writing and story-telling is no different.

I usually best love whichever couple I last read about. I've always wanted to write, but my love began as a reader. And when I'm not knee-deep in a deadline induced panic, I'm a voracious reader.

For NaNoWriMo 2015, I'm writing an urban fantasy. I'm also polishing a YA SciFi that is particularly dear to my heart.

I get to make whole worlds, whole civilizations up. I can pick the color of the grass, the sorts of creatures, frame the world the way I wish it was, or even make something worse that must be overcome. I enjoy meeting the characters and traveling along on the adventure.

Well, writer's block can be tough to manage when I'm overwhelmed by a deadline, a story I'm trying to write, or any other number of things. Sometimes, I take a break. But most of the time, I write a flash fiction. New work always burst through writer's block.
