Hi Thomas! There is a 95% likelihood that the Heroes of Spira will be 5 books in total. I think there's an outside chance that Book 5 will be long enough for me to consider splitting it into two, but I feel that's unlikely. (I'd hope anyone invested enough to have read the first four books will be willing to read through a fat final installment!) I have the entire series outlined and plotted, and I know the beginning, arc, and end of each volume.
I'm on target to finish the first draft of Book 3 in July/August, but I like to be very thorough with my revising and editing. I don't like guessing release dates for my books, because I end up disappointing people when deadlines slip. But as long as you don't hold me to it, I'll give you my best guess: spring of 2019.
