Carol Thomas Sometimes I find I just have to write through it, even if I am not happy with what I've done at least it is there to come back to another day. I think there is a saying that you can't edit a blank page. It's very true!
Carol Thomas Write, keep writing and enjoy it. Read the genre you enjoy and write from what you know.
Carol Thomas I like to observe people, their traits, habits and what motivates them. I enjoy writing from real experiences, drawing on what I know and depicting emotions I, and hopefully others, can relate to.
Carol Thomas I love it when I get into the flow of writing with an idea that I am really enjoying, the times when I can't write fast enough to get the ideas down. And, of course, I loved the day my book arrived. Holding something you have written and are proud of is a great feeling.
Carol Thomas My second novel is a work in progress. It is of the same genre as Crazy Over You but is, at the moment, another stand alone novel.
Carol Thomas I had read other great novels on the theme of infidelity but often found that the impact of the affair on the central character tended to be sidelined in order to move forward with the plot. In writing Crazy Over You I felt I had something different to offer; the exploration of Abby’s feelings is very much part of the plot. In fact they are the driving force throughout the story.
