People inspire me. I've met all sorts of people and they just inspire me. Also scenery (especially the beach) really inspires me, which is why I sit outside throughout the day in warmer weather staring at the garden.

Sorry, I'm just this question! Gosh! Two things: I would skip the scene that needs to be written or I'd go onto the next scene. Second, I would walk away from the writing for 2-3 days and totally veg: binge watch Netflix and read books.

I am only just seeing this question! I'm so sorry. No, I can't, because horror disturbs me. But I will tell you a story about my late mother. When she was a teenager she used to love to make-up and tell horror stories to her friends. They were so good that her friends needed someone to walk them home. In broad daylight.

I was reading a lot of juvenile & YA fiction with my son at the time and was disappointed at the lack of female main characters, especially females with their own supernatural powers. Thus, Claire Daly was born, a teenage, Irish girl with some power of her own.
