How do you get inspired to write?
Eric Mrozek A good idea can really come from anywhere, but you have to know it when you see it.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Eric Mrozek It came from a collection of my views on popular culture and a bit of research into history and politics that ranged from the English Civil War to World War II.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Eric Mrozek If you are writing for the heck of it right now, just enjoy what you are doing. If you are writing to publish, then you need to have a certain amount of foresight because you are going to be publishing for a market that is one or two years into the future, regardless of whether you choose the traditional or self-published path.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Eric Mrozek If you have the right temperament for it, then it is a lot of fun to take a world that is in your head and create it out of thin air.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Eric Mrozek Take your mind off of it and do something else. Two hours of video games tends to do the trick for me.

What are you currently working on?
Eric Mrozek I am working on the first part of a short story series that explores the world of Maereath about five hundred years before the events of Destruction.
