I absolutely think teenagers can write a novel. If writing is your passion, you'll find yourself in a zone in which creating a story is not only fun, but fulfilling. When I'm not writing, I tend to get the blues. I'm constantly brainstorming, collecting research, taking notes, even if I'm not writing a story. I'd highly recommend a writing group. People that love you often times don't want to hurt your feelings, so they'll tell you something is good when really it could use work. A high functioning critique group will tell you when things don't work and why. You can find critique groups through SCBWI (Google it) if you become a member. Regarding what does it take and what processes I went through, it takes a steel will and not giving up on anything: the story, the editing, the agent search, the publisher search. Good luck!

Hmm, I can't see it either. Send it again!

I'm currently working on book three. I have some ideas for what is after the Everland series, but I'm focused on making sure Pete, Gwen, and all of the other characters get their moment in the light.

I used to be a Disney Cast Member. I've always loved classic stories. When I came up with the concept, I wanted to take all the stories I loved and give it a modern twist. As I evaluated my favorite tales, I realized a slight common theme...steampunk items. Clocks, airships, watches. The rest is Everland history!

One thing about books that are a series is taking existing characters and adding new ones to the story to keep the story alive. We'll get to see a bit more of Pete, Gwen, and the Everland crew in book two and three. Great question.

Alexandria! So nice to meet you! I've been trying to play catchup with responses. Please forgive me for the delay. I'm so excited that you're writing and that Everland has inspired you. I can't wait to see your name on a book someday! Keep on reading and writing. The more you immerse yourself in books, the better writer you become. Thanks for dropping me a not. Best wishes to you!

The other books will be a continuation of Everland. The Everland cast will be in it, but I'll be introducing new characters along the way from an entirely different story.

My mother loved Peter Pan and named me after the character in the original book. Because of it I grew to love the story as well. Later on I became a Disneyland Cast Member. After a failed attempt to sell the first novel I wrote, I decided I needed to write a story based on something I loved and was passionate about. Thus, Everland was born. Great question!

Nicole, great question. EVERLAND is book one out of three. I'm currently revising book two now. There will also be a couple of eshorts available while we wait for books two and three to come out. Hope you enjoyed reading EVERLAND.
